The smoke is deep and piney, not sharp, and it lingers pleasantly on the tongue after each sip. I brewed a pot for the first time this morning and the woodsy aroma filled the whole kitchen. This is exactly the campfire-in-a-cup character I was hoping for.

The moment I opened the bag, that pinewood smoke hit me—exactly the campfire depth I've been chasing in a daily black tea. Brews up a rich, almost savory cup that holds its own without milk, and the leaves keep their character for two solid infusions.
