The orange zest comes through first, then the spices settle in behind it. I've been brewing a cup every evening this week and it genuinely tastes like the holidays.
The vanilla is what surprised me, it softens the whole cup so the spice never gets harsh. I've been brewing it a bit longer than the label says and it still doesn't turn bitter. Tastes like the holidays without being overly sweet.
