The bergamot in this one is bright but never overwhelms the floral Darjeeling base - I've been brewing it with a little patience at 3 minutes for the perfect afternoon cup. The high elevation character really comes through, making it feel lighter and more delicate than typical earl greys I've tried
The citrus comes through first, then the florals settle in nicely on the finish, and it’s surprisingly smooth for a black tea. I’ve been brewing it a bit cooler than boiling and the delicate Darjeeling character really shines that way.
The bergamot here is bright and zesty without ever turning soapy, and it blends beautifully with the tea's natural floral notes. It brews a lovely cup that's refreshing enough for an afternoon pick-me-up, a real step up from the usual earl grey.
