The cedar and plum notes come through just as described, and that medium body with a pleasant astringency makes it perfect for an afternoon cup. Brewed it for three minutes and got a surprisingly smooth finish. Already eyeing the next bag.
This has that classic Darjeeling briskness, but the plum and cinnamon notes are what really linger after each sip. It's medium-bodied and pleasantly astringent, just how a proper second flush should be.
The cedar note comes through first, then that cinnamon warmth lingers on the finish—exactly what I look for in a 2nd flush. Medium-bodied with that pleasant astringency that cuts through the sweetness, and the 40% off made it a steal for the quality.
