To craft this artisan tea, tea leaves are flattened by hand in a hot pan. This pan-firing technique creates the legendary flattened shape of the tea leaf, and gives the tea it's toasty aroma with a buttery taste and nutty roasted notes.

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 175°F, for 2-3 minutes
