Description: This is one of our topselling green teas. A versatile tea that works well either hot or iced. Excellent with honey. Aperfect selection for tea drinkers that want a traditional green tea. A classic green tea with steamed vegetal notes of edamame and asparagus with a lingering earthy note.

This tea is crafted in China in the Japanese style of steaming the leaf instead of the typical Chinese manner of pan-frying the leaf. The result is a vegetal green tea with sweet grassy earthiness and a clean finish without any smoke or roasted notes.

Steep Time:

steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 175°F, for 2-3 minutes

Brewed this hot first thing this morning and the grassy, vegetal note is exactly what I was craving—smooth, not bitter at all. It also held up beautifully over ice this afternoon, so the versatility claim is real. A touch of honey makes it even better, which is a nice bonus.
