We've created this tea to evoke memories of strawberry picking on the North Fork of Long Island during the hot summer season. This tea is excellent both hot and iced. Add a touch of simple syrup or honey to draw out the juicy strawberry sweetness.

Ingredients: green tea, strawberry, papaya, rose petals, safflower, marigold

Steep Time: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 175°F, for 3-4 minutes

The strawberry comes through naturally sweet without turning syrupy, and the papaya adds just enough depth to keep it interesting. I steeped it a little longer than the instructions stated and it stayed smooth, no bitterness creeping in. This one's going into my regular afternoon rotation.

The papaya note is subtle enough that I almost missed it, but it does round out the strawberry nicely. Brewed it a few times and the flavor fades fast after the first steep, so it’s not the most economical for daily drinking. Fine for a casual cup when I want something light and fruity.
