I was hesitant about sampler boxes since I usually stick to one favorite, but this one’s a great way to compare regions side by side. The five unflavored blacks are distinct enough that I’ve already found two new daily go-tos.
The five straight black teas each have their own distinct character, which makes the tasting flight genuinely interesting. The box itself is sturdy enough to reuse for storing my loose-leaf stash afterward.
The little box itself feels sturdy and well-made, and each tea bag is individually wrapped which keeps things fresh. I’ve already worked through the Assam and Darjeeling, and the flavor difference between the two regions is surprisingly clear even for a beginner.
