Description: One of our most popular teas! A bold and decadent earl grey. We’ve blended together rich black tea with strong bergamot, vanilla, and a hint of floral rose. The result is a strong and aromatic creamy vanilla earl grey that can stand up well to milk and sugar.

This sophisticated and fanciful tea is inspired by afternoon tea service at tea salons in Paris. A remarkable tea that is rich, sultry, and decadent. Add milk and sugar to increase the decadent creamy notes.

In comparison to our Earl Grey Crème, French Grey is a stronger more aromatic black tea. French Grey is a bold and rich earl grey.

Ingredients: black tea, bergamot, vanilla, cream flavor, rose petals, cornflowers

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 3-5 minutes

The vanilla cream note really comes through smoothly, and the rose adds a nice softness to the strong bergamot. It brews up dark and rich, though I wish the vanilla lingered a bit longer on the finish. Still, a solid everyday earl grey for a chilly afternoon.
