Tasting Notes: lavender + bergamot

Description: A bright and aromatic twist on classic Earl Grey. Our updated Lavender Earl Grey features a brisk Ceylon black tea base from Sri Lanka and a more generous amount of French lavender. The floral notes take center stage, with blossoms from Provence layered over fragrant Italian bergamot for a lively cup.

Smooth and fragrant, this tea is excellent on its own or with a splash of milk or lemon. We especially enjoy it chilled, where the bold floral character shines in a refreshing iced tea.

Ingredients: black tea, lavender, bergamot 

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 3-4 minutes

Please note: At the end of April 2025, this Lavender Earl Grey was updated with a new Ceylon base and more French lavender. It is now brighter, more floral, and better than ever. If you have purchased large bags in the past, we recommend starting with a smaller size to experience the new recipe.
