Category: CLASSIC BLACK TEAS

Tasting Notes: earthy, malty, rich

Description:  A hearty breakfast tea designed for the Highlands of Scotland. A robust brew that has an earthy highland taste with notes of peat and earth. A strong black tea with hints of malt, oak, black pepper, hay, and honey.

This bold black tea works well with milk and sugar but can also be sipped straight up if you love a robust and earthy breakfast tea.

Scottish Breakfast differs from the other breakfast teas due to its notes of peat and earth. It is darker and heavier than our English Breakfast, which has a lighter body with a more brisk balanced flavor. Irish Breakfast is malty and smooth with a round mouth-feel and a thick and stout body.

Ingredients: blend of black teas from India, China, Sri Lanka (Ceylon)

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz boiling water, 205-212°F, for 3-5 minutes
