We hebben deze thee gecreëerd om herinneringen op te roepen aan het aardbeien plukken op de North Fork van Long Island tijdens het hete zomerseizoen. Deze thee is zowel warm als ijskoud uitstekend. Voeg een vleugje suikersiroop of honing toe om de sappige zoetheid van de aardbei naar voren te brengen.

Ingrediënten: groene thee, aardbei, papaja, rozenblaadjes, saffloer, goudsbloem

Trekduur: laat 1 afgestreken theelepel thee per 240 ml trekken in water dat net onder het kookpunt is, 175°F, gedurende 3-4 minuten

The papaya note is subtle enough that I almost missed it, but it does round out the strawberry nicely. Brewed it a few times and the flavor fades fast after the first steep, so it’s not the most economical for daily drinking. Fine for a casual cup when I want something light and fruity.
