De naam van deze thee is geïnspireerd op de geliefde documentaire Grey Gardens uit 1975, opgenomen in East Hampton.

Rijke zwarte thee wordt omhuld door lagen van fruitige aalbessen, pittige sinaasappel, robuuste bergamot, bloemige roos en een vleugje vanille. Het resultaat is een complexe variant op earl grey die perfect in balans is.

Deze luxe variant van earl grey is heerlijk puur of met melk en suiker. Een prachtige keuze voor de afternoon tea en om te combineren met scones. Deze fruitige en bloemige zwarte thee is ook zeer geschikt als ijsthee.

Zetvoorschrift: zet 1 afgestreken theelepel thee per 240 ml kokend water, 205-212°F, gedurende 3-5 minuten
