The whole leaf in these pyramid sachets actually unfurls, so the bergamot tastes fresh instead of dusty like the flat bags I used to buy. I also like that the sachets are cornstarch and break down in my compost.
I've been steeping these in an 8 oz mug and the bergamot comes through clean without turning bitter, even when I forget and leave the bag in a minute too long. The whole leaf tea in the biodegradable cornstarch bags is a nice touch too.
The pyramid sachets give the leaves room to open up, and the bergamot comes through fine, but I find one bag makes a pretty weak 8 oz cup. I've been using two per mug, which means the 100 count won't last nearly as long as I hoped.
