The cinnamon hits first, then the apple sweetness comes through, and the almond adds this subtle nuttiness that makes it feel like a real apple turnover. I've been brewing a cup every afternoon and the green tea base stays smooth without turning bitter.

The cinnamon hits first, then the apple comes through on the finish, and the currant and rose petals add a nice tartness underneath. I do wish the green tea base was a little stronger since it gets a bit lost in the spice. Still, a solid afternoon cup.

I expected this to taste like dessert, and the apple and currant pieces do give it a nice sweetness without any sugar. The green tea base gets a bit bitter if you steep it past three minutes, so keep an eye on the clock.
